It’s been well over a year since we were last in Japan, and truth be told we both miss it a lot. I can’t complain too much because we are going to America in just over 3 weeks, but I want to go back to Japan too!!!
In attempt to fill the void we decided to have a Japanese breakfast the other morning, complete with Salt grilled salmon and Natto. I don’t even really like Natto all that much, but it’s healthy and it reminds me of Japan so I eat it anyway.
Sticky, sticky Natto.
Rice with Umeboshi, grilled salmon, soft boiled egg, pickles and yogurt with (homemade) plum jam. Oh and coffee of course. Breakfast of champions.
