Leaving Kyoto, bound for the Hakuba Alps on the West Coast of Japan. A brief stop in Nagoya, enough time to pick up an Ekiben and a, you guessed it Nagoya Kitty!

We tried to ski in Hakuba. The snow was beautiful, but skiing was difficult and very tiring. It was fun though.
Here Kitty pretends she can ski by dressing up as Japanese skier Aiko Uemura.

Then there’s a quick change of costume to “Mountain Meadows” Kitty, also from Hakuba. I think she’s some kind of snow weasel.
