This is my early Christmas present – a toaster oven!

I’ve wanted one for ages. Our real oven is noisy, and quite honestly a bit rubbish, so I figure a little mini oven will be handy for cooking smaller things, small batches cupcakes and the like.

I’m trying it out tonight, just to make sure it works properly. I’ve used the “grill” function to make zucchini salad –

And currently just cooking up some egg and bacon ramekins. Keeping it simple today. Will try to roast something proper in it soon.
