Dinner #151: 28/12/2012

It’s been 40 degrees here in Perth for the last five days or so. Maybe not quite five days, but close, and it’s going to be hot for like ever. I actually like the hot. The evenings are lovely, and it beats being cold. Cooking in the heat is not as much fun, hence the grazing platters we have had over the last few nights. We have been going down to the beach the last couple of nights and everyone has been eating fish n chips. Don’t get me wrong, I love some good fish and chips, but usually I disappointed with them, they are almost always more greasy than you want and more expensive too. So, I decided to make my own. Except I didn’t have any fish, only prawns. So this is my take on fish and chips. Breadcrumbed prawns & crispy potatoes with mango and home made tartare sauce.
