Dinner #172: 18/1/2013

Well, dinner started today with jug of punch at Madame Brussels with Danni as special guest. Ok, it was only about 2 in the arvo, but hey!

After that, it was beers on the rooftop of the Cookie building. It was a lovely afternoon for it.

Then some whiskey tastings at Chez Regine’s pop up whiskey bar. It liked the peat-y ones.

Then, Danni had to leave to catch a plane to Sydney. We went and met Anton and Felicity at 1806 for pre dinner cocktails. (I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little tipsy by this stage )

I was a bit concerned about the blue-ness of my cocktail, but it tasted good.

Then we went to Kokoro ramen for, well, ramen of course! I got the miso tonkotsu pork belly type. It was incredibly tasty and flavoursome. Good noodles, and good egg especially.

Then we went back to our hotel and promptly passed out.

  1. Look, it’s me. We seem to be drinking a lot. When I got to the airport a Fat Yak mysteriously appeared in my hand. Then I got to Sydney too late for actual dinner….
