Well, our last full day in Melbourne. And therefore our last dinner in Melbourne. Had breakfast at Trunk Diner. I had French toast with Maple Syrup and bacon. It was great. Probably my fave breakfast from the whole trip.
Steve had house made crumpets with honey that they make right there on the premises. (We saw the bees!)
I like it at Trunk.
Went to Lygon Street and planned not to get lunch there. But then we couldn’t resist the meat and cheese platters we saw people eating at D.O.C and went and got on too.
How can I not love a place that provides each table with its own bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil?
For dinner, we ended up back at The Lounge again. We were going to see Elvis Costello, so once again had to have an early dinner. Met up with Caz, Danni, Dale & Shane. Apologies for the blurry shot, it was taken by a third party.
We had the mini burgers (again) and the barramundi tacos (again). Quite fitting really to end the trip, as that’s what we had on our first night in.
Then we headed off to the Palais for our third, and final show there. Elvis Costello was great.
And here’s Luna Park at night whilst we were waiting for the tram.
