Well after 11 hours from Perth to Dubai, 4 hours at Dubai airport, 7 hours from Dubai to Geneva, 3 hours by train from Geneva to Visp, then finally 1 hour by train from Visp to our final destination of Zermatt. We made it! Hooray! Exhausted, we eventually found our hotel, then went to try to find some dinner. I was feeling a like I was getting a cold, which was pretty disappointing. That coupled with lack of sleep and just basic exhaustion, we weren’t really keen to have dinner at a restaurant. We set out to look for a bakery or supermarket, but sadly it was just after 7pm and all of these places shut by 7pm in Zermatt. We attempted to go into a pizza restaurant, but the Maitre De took one look at us and decided his restaurant was full (well, it probably actually was full). Defeated, and exhausted, we headed back to our hotel where we had museli bars (packed from home for such an emergency) & crackers (squirrelled away from lunch on the plane) for dinner and then prompt
