Get me a Topo Chico and get me to the pool

We had a pretty chill day today as was our plan for this part of the trip. Breakfast on the patio at Tourists was pretty tasty. I had scrambled eggs and bacon and Steve had Fruit and Granola. It’s pretty chill here in the morning.

After breakfast we went for quite a long walk around the nearby trails. It’s so green around here AND we saw a chipmunk!!!

Hike completed we headed to nearby Williamstown for lunch. We went to a place called Papa Charlie’s and had a very delicious sandwich and salad for lunch.

A quick post lunch look around Williamstown (they have a very cool bookstore) before stopping for a coffee and very large chocolate chip cookie at Tunnel City Coffee.

Then it was back to Tourists as a swim in the pool was in order. The pool is nice but does contain a lot of screaming children which reminds me a bit too much of work, but hey, what can you do?

After hanging by the pool for a few hours it was dinner time. Tonight at Tourists a local chef was in attendance cooking Vietnamese food as a special pop up event. We met up with Piper and Brett for dinner. It took quite a while for us to get our meals due to some incident with the grill – but when it finally arrived it was quite delicious. Well it was nice to not eat bread for a meal at last!

When it started getting dark we noticed there were fireflies around – so we went for a walk to where it was more dark and there were fireflies everywhere and it was sooooooo cool! We stood there marvelling at them for ages. I did take some photos and video but you can’t really see them, so you will just have to imagine.

Actually I just looked at my videos of the fireflies and you can kind of see them.
