Spoons washed, bowls chucked, cups kept

And just like that our college dorm life had come to an end.

Dormy inn

We packed up, chatted to our friend Yuko for a bit who was waiting to be picked up and checked out of the dorms. See you in 2026!

The Berkshire Towers

As per tradition, we headed to Mass Moca to have a coffee at Tunnel City coffee and decompress after the weekends excitement.

Oh we also had a bagel

We took some photos with the Wilco sign

We took a look around the museum shop and chilled out in the sun.

For lunch we had Jacks Hotdogs in North Adams. It is a tiny little old school place that’s been there since about 1917 or something. The hotdogs were small but tasty.

Steve made a new friend

After lunch and a quick supermarket stop, we drove up Mt Greylock to check out the view. It’s quite a windy, scenic drive to the top. Nice views from the top – but it was actually a bit cold up there. We climbed up the tower thing there (and our legs are still hurting two days later) which also had nice views.

Tower we climbed up

By now it was time to check in to Tourists – our accommodation for the next few nights.

Swish digs

We went for a bit of a wander along the trails at the back of the property. It really is very beautiful around here.

After our wander we met up with our friends Piper and Brett who are also staying at Tourists for the next few days. We hung out and chatted til late in the evening. We had dinner too but I didn’t take any photos – dinner at Tourists is always an interesting affair 😆

And that was about it for today!
