Breakfast delivery again this morning.

So today the Tour De France was in the nearby town, so most of the roads were blocked – which meant limited movement for us.

It was also really hot.
We drove up a nearby mountain which had nice views but it was just too hot to do a hike.

We had a little look around the very small town nearby before going back to the campsite. It’s so nice at the campsite anyway, so it was good to have a bit of a chill and relax anyway.

Around 5:30pm we decided that most of the cycling shenanigans should’ve finished for the day so we thought we would go for a drive. We drove in the other direction which we hadn’t done yet and discovered all sorts of wonders.
First up we found a little market – it looked like the cycling had gone through this town as everyone was very festive and there were banners and jerseys and bikes and all sorts of things hanging up on the walls of peoples houses.

We stopped at the little market and had icecream. Our French is very poor but we managed to work it out.

Very scenic around here. We went to a town called Estaing. There was a lake, mountains and random horses.

We walked around here for a while but it was actually getting quite late. So we headed back to the campsite for dinner.
Saw more Tour De France things on the way.

We had a can of Asturian Bean stew that we bought at the Mercadona supermarket and it was actually really good! Not bad for like $3!!!
