It’s Just 3 Days In France

Well before we knew it, our time in France was soon to be over. We’d never been to France before – this was our first visit, even if it was *just* over the Spanish border, it still counts. The country side was definitely spectacular and all the people have been very friendly – even with our extremely rubbish amount of high school French.

But first, Breakfast

We had a big drive ahead of us today – over 5 hours to our next destination- somewhere in the Spanish mountains. We are not quite sure where we are going exactly.

We drove the scenic way through the Pyrenees mountains – and there were some big mountains we drove up. I tried to take photos but they really do it no justice. It was freaking spectacular, let me just say that.

We are not going to these places

We had lunch at a random park, still somewhere in France.

Where’s our lunch? Must’ve eated it.
Cute town with cute alleys
Mountain roads
Mountain vistas
It doesn’t even look high, but it is

It was good to get back to Spain. The amount of times I said Hola and Gracias to French people was yet too high. At least I can order coffee in Spanish. Not that we ever get to have coffee because it’s always siesta time when we want coffee and everything is closed!

Still looking…

There were lots of tunnels on our journey

We made it to our accommodation- Cases Altes De Posada – an old farm house from the year 1300. I was a bit concerned as to what it was going to be like but it was spectacular. Plus – there were cats!!!!!

A place with cats is always a good place

After checking in we went to a nearby small town to check out dinner options. We had a few things with us already, so we picked up some bread, tuna and tomatoes.

We ate our dinner out here on a balcony

It’s very nice here. There are also cows. And some new age hippies on some sort of retreat, but they weren’t too much of a bother, except for the guy playing guitar, he could’ve stopped sooner.

We still don’t *really* know where we are.
