Ok Ive decided to continue on with the blog. For better or for worse, our holiday is continuing and we are still managing to have a nice time for most of the time anyway.

We finally made it to Okunoshima aka Rabbit Island. Last year we didn’t make it there so we made an extra effort to get there. We unfortunately didn’t really enjoy our time there given the circumstances- but the bunnies were plentiful and cute.

We rode to the ferry port and caught the ferry across. It’s a reasonably small island that you can ride your bike around. The island used to be used for making poison gas. Now it’s filled with bunnies. But you can still see the remnants of the factories – it’s quite eerie.
