Dinner #269: 26/4/2013

Dinner in Munich today at the famous Hofbrauhaus. I couldn’t possibly be in Munich and not drink a massive beer. And so I drank a litre of beer. It probably took me about 2 hours to get through it. We ate pork knuckle with knödel. German knödel seems to be made out of potato whereas Austrian ones are bread. I like both, but I do prefer the bread ones.





For some crazy reason, we got hungry again later in the evening. So we stopped at the Frühlinsfest (which was on in a park near our hotel ) and had some chops with mayo and a Bismark Herring roll.
