Dinner #323: 20/6/2013

Trying to live on the cheap at the moment. That European trip really took a chunk out of our savings…well when I say chunk, I mean all, but hey, what can you do? It was an awesome trip and totally worth it. So anyway, the point to my story is, I have been resorting back to cheap, basic meals that preferably feed us for a couple of days. Also, been raiding the pantry for ingredients to use up. Tonight I’m making a tuna mornay – pasta bake type thing. With a lettuce and pumpkin seed oil salad. Pumpkin seed oil is pretty much the best thing ever. It’s a shame it’s not more easily (and less expensively) available in Australia. Don’t know what I’m going to do when my supply from Austria runs out.
