For some stupid reason I thought it would be a good idea to make Veal Parmigiana. I’m not really sure what possessed me to do such a thing. I don’t think I’ve ever made it before. Sure, enjoying a Parma and a pot at a fine Melbourne pub is one of life’s simple pleasures, but making it at home is a whole other story. It’s not that it’s particulary difficult or anything, but to be honest, it’s actually just not that nice. And that’s even BEFORE I start thinking about the poor baby cow involved in the whole process. ANYWAY, I digress…it turned out ok, but the meat was chewy and not very nice thus adding to the overall un niceness. I don’t think I will be making it again anytime soon.
But at least the salad was nice.
