Tonight’s dinner was disappointing with a capital D. I’d felt like corned beef for a while and thus bought some with the aim to cook it up in the slow cooker. Long story, short, and after 8 hours of cooking time in the slow cooker, dinner was ready. And by ready I mean rubbish. I don’t know why it didn’t work ( I’ve made it many times before in the same way) but the meat was dry and tasteless and to be honest quite inedible. We ate some anyway. The horseradish sauce was lame too because I didn’t have the right type of horseradish. Also it was out of date. Lame lame lame lame lame.

The green beans with garlic were good though.
