Super exciting! Tonight me and my friend Jen went to see Spandau Ballet. I grew up listening to those guys, but I was too young to see see them when they toured back in the day. I saw them live for the first time in 2010 – which was a bit of a dream come true for me. I never thought I’d get to see them. All original 5 members n all. So getting to see them a second time was just awesome.
But first, chipotle pork Tacos at Guzman Y Gomez for dinner.

Spandau Ballet were ace. The venue was a bit naff and we were seated side on from the stage, but I still loved it. I thought they were heaps better this time around – they seemed to be enjoying themselves and seemed more cohesive as a band. If that makes any sense. And Tony Hadleys voice was in fine form. Top stuff! Only slight disappointment was that they didn’t play Fight For Ourselves, which is a particular favourite if mine, but hey, all the other hits and memories (and some new songs too!!!) were played, so no complaining here.
