The best hibachi

Last Monday was a public holiday. Labor Day to be precise. Hooray for Monday’s that you don’t have to go to work on! If it were up to me, every Monday would be a holiday. We decided to fire up the hibachi for dinner tonight. Steve lit it at about 3:30pm, to give it plenty of time to heat up properly. We’ve had too many 10pm hibachi dinners in the past, we are slowly beginning to learn.

We cooked up some Barramundi skewers and prawns, as well as some pumpkin.

The prawns were marinated in a coriander/garlic/olive oil mixture. Delicious.

Then we eated it all.

There was enough leftovers to pack bento lunches for the next day.
