On Wednesday (the 16th March for those of you taking notes) we went to see Calexico at the Fremantle Arts Centre. The gig started early which was a bit weird, so a quick dinner was in order. And what better for a simple, quick dinner than a cheese toastie   
 
Luckily when we got to the gig our friend Pete was already there and had secured a good spot in front of the stage. Everyone was sitting on picnic rugs which I didn’t think would be much fun for a Calexico gig. Luckily a few songs in some people started to stand, so we got up too. By the end of the gig everyone was standing. This is the 3rd time I’ve seen Calexico and they were just as awesome as ever. Great stuff!
