The Festive Season 2016 Part 2

Well after the stollen was made, it was on to everything else. Steve and I celebrated Christmas Eve Eve this year, and I decided to have another crack at cooking a turkey. I seasoned it was thyme and butter and put it in the oven to cook all afternoon.

We got these delicious yabbies too. And this big tub and salmon roe.

Whilst the turkey cooked, we had a couple of gin and tonics in the backyard. This may have resulted in me overlooking the turkey ever so slightly.

And then we ate all the food.

We had a quiet Christmas Eve round at my mums house. We brought some of the turkey, the traditional prawn and grape salad and a potato salad. It was all good.

Oh and stollen with coffee for dessert.
