I was wandering around the Spudshed the other day, wondering what to make for dinner. When I saw some fresh okra in the vege section a wonderful thought struck me. Gumbo. It’s time to make gumbo. So I purchased all the necessary ingredients and went home and put it on to cook at around 3pm, so it could simmer for a few hours and get extra tasty and delicious. I ended up making loads, so we had it for dinner again the next night. On the second night I made some cornbread to go with it.
