Trip to Japan yields many

Well although I haven’t uploaded all my older Kitty charms, a recent trip to Japan saw me return with a swag of new ones, so I will jump straight to the newest additions to my collection.

Our first stop in the Japan was Kyoto. There were many Kitty charms to collect. I had to draw the line somewhere, and just choose the ones most appropriate to my holiday, or the cutest 🙂

This first one is Tanuki Kitty. Tanuki are raccoon like animals and statues of them are found outside many Japanese temples and restaurants.

Ok, next we have monkey Kitty. One of my favourite places in Kyoto is the Iwatayama Monkey Park in Arashiyama. Up the top of a mountain (quite the hike) a whole lot of monkeys frollick whilst you watch them from inside a little hut. You can buy monkey snacks to feed them too or coffee to feed yourself. You can also wander around the mountain top looking at the cute monkeys – but just remember, whatever you do – don’t stare at the monkeys eyes! Anyhoo, although this particular Kitty does not come from said park, it’s a nice reminder of all things monkey.

Now we have a few temples Kitty’s. The first is a different type of charm that I don’t normally get, but I really wanted a Kiyomizudera (my fave Kyoto temple)charm and this was the only type they had.

Next, classic Kyoto Kitty

And finally, Ninja Kitty. I just couldn’t resist this one at the train station leaving Kyoto.
