Ok, for this dinner I went back to my roots. Good old standard chicken schnitzel & German potato salad and steamed asparagus. As an added bonus, I’d picked up some Leberkase that day (something I havent eaten for years) so (although you can eat it as is) I fried some up to go with dinner. I couldn’t quite remember how I was supposed to do it – if it needed to be floured or something. I went sans flour. It tasted pretty good. There was supposed to be roasted beetroot with this meal also, but upon removing the beetroot from the fridge, I noticed it wasn’t looking so good, so had to throw it out instead 😦 I hate wasting food!
