Dinner #102: 8/11/2012

Well, I had written up a whole lot about the prep for today’s dinner, but i seem to have lost it, so this will have be blogged in reverse order. So first up, here’s tonight’s dinner – crispy(ish) salt and pepper squid, tomato & cucumber salad, broad bean & feta salad and homemade tartare sauce.



Ok, so earlier today, I picked some things from my garden.

Broad beans –


Parsley –


And some basil –


Here’s the beans picked and then podded.



The broad beans were delicious. There’s still some more growing, so looking forward to the next bunch.
