Today we left Munich and made our way to Freiburg in the Black Forest. The weather is cold and dreadful, even though its Spring and everyone keeps telling us how nice it normally is.
I was determined not drink any beer today. Obviously not determined enough. Ended up at Martins Brau Gasthausbraueri. They brew their own beer (just for something different in Germany ) so how could I not have one? I had a Radler (that’s a Shandy to you Aussie types) and Steve and I shared some Späezle and Bratwurst for dinner. Really good.

Then I had a Dunkel beer.
