I wanted to make Osso Bucco tonight but the stupid shops didn’t have the right meat. Boo. So I just got some Chuck Steak instead and made a goulash-y stew-y type thing. It turned out ok. I made it in the slow cooker, which I just don’t believe makes the meat very flavourful. It doesn’t make it all rich and thick like a pot on the stove or in the oven does.
