Must have dumplings

Ate lots of food again today. Had a bit of a early morning trouble at the breakfast buffet when I was suitably repulsed by a family with a child who had chicken pox. There he was all chicken pox-y and he was touching all the food stuff and scratching his face right on top of the food. Sure, sucks for the kid with the chicken pox, but y’know, maybe just don’t touch ALL the food. Needless to say I didn’t end up eating from the buffet today. Luckily, we found a Japanese bakery in the basement of Isetan. Also the Isetan supermarket. We bought some snacks. I love Isetan.

Yes. I did have bread with fruit in it.
After a late morning/early arvo explore of Haw Par Villa (freaking awesome) we were in dire need of food (and coolness). We headed to Sentosa Island where we went to Din Tai Fung for dumplings and other tasty treats.

Then, after a brief stop off at our hotel for a swim and a beer;

We wandered up to Newton Hawker Centre for dinner. Steve had Hainese Chicken and I had BBQ Char Siu pork. Delicious.
