The weather wasn’t very pleasant today – very windy and rainy, so we headed to the Museum of contemporary Art to see the Pixar exhibition that was on there. Pretty much everyone in Tokyo had the same idea though.

   
 
After we went through the exhibition, we needed some lunch, so we wandered around nearby Kiyosumi Shirakawa and found Allpress Esspresso. It looked good so we went in. We had flat whites and a meat and cheese platter. It was delicious.

   
   
In the evening we headed to the super cool 8 Bit Cafe in Shinjuku. Pretty much the best bar ever – full of old video games and all things nerdy. We were going to see a gig there of some Japanese chip tune bands. It was an early gig. So we grabbed a quick snack at Anderson at Ueno Station before completing our journey to Shinjuku.

   
 
The gig we fantastic. So good! Free beer (well one), great bands, awesome venue and all over by 9:30pm. Then we were left to go out in to the streets of Shinjuku after having perhaps one too many beers. Good times.

   
    
    
    
    
 
Oh and then a late night snack back at our hotel of some random things we picked up at the 24 hour supermarket.
