Eurovision 2016

Well it’s become pretty bloody obvious that I can’t maintain this blog and update my dinner photos every night. So I have decided to ease back a bit, and only do updates on particularly good or special meals. I mean, let’s face it, you don’t really need to see ANOTHER photo of rice and egg for dinner. Never fear though, I will still try to update regularly!

Last weekend was Eurovison. We love Eurovision here. There’s just something about the kitschy cheesiness of it all that makes it so, so awesome. We generally host a small get together of a few friends and watch the final together. Everyone brings some food from a country that is performing.

This year, I made Curry Wurst (Austria/Germany), Haloumi and Babaganoush dip (Greece/Cyprus), Smorrebrod (Denmark) amongst a few other things. Pete & Nicole brought Swedish Meatballs and a delicious Swedish chocolate cake and Fletch and Conor brought Party Eggs. I’m not sure what country they were representing, but they were delicious none the less.

And a good time was had by all. Although, none of us agreed with this years winner.
