As has been tradition for us for the last 10 years or more, we like to spend New Years Day chilling in a park with good friends and eating good food. This year I didn’t have time to make anything to elaborate, so I went with a pork Katsu sandwich bentos. I love pork Katsu sandwichs, and I was really happy how these turned out.

And a lovely day was had by all in the park. The only slight disappointment being that we missed out on getting an icecream from Mr Shippy the icecream van that’s a boat. Yep, you better believe it, that is actually a thing.
