The best Goulash

I’ve been craving Austrian/German food lately – especially Goulash Suppe (soup). So I searched on the internetz to try to and find an authentic Austrian goulash as most recipes I come across are Hungarian Goulash – still delicious, don’t get me wrong, but just different. I was happy when I stumbled across this here recipe as it sounded like just what I was looking for.

So on a stormy Saturday night I cooked up a big batch of this goulash and I must say it was the best ever! Just like being in Austria but without having to get on a plane. We had the leftovers for dinner the next night and they were even better. I will be making this again very soon.

Served with mashed potatoes, baby carrots, cucumber salad, pickled cabbage and fefferoni.
