Today we have to check out of our dorms. But never fear! We are not leaving North Adams *just* yet. We are headed to the wonderful Tourists for 2 nights to decompress.

As per tradition, once we had checked out, we headed back down to Mass Moca to have a coffee at Tunnel City Coffee.

We enjoyed our coffees, Steve hob-nobbed with appropriate people re Wilcards and caught up with Piper and Brett.

It was nearing lunchtime so decided to have lunch at Mass Moca. We had a goats cheese salad and a BLT sandwich. Very tasty.

After lunch we tried to go look at a lake but it was hot so we looked briefly and then left. We picked up some breakfast snacks and some other random food stuffs (mostly pickle related) and decided to just go to Tourists and hang around until they let us check in.

We got some drinks and sat on the deck at Tourists. It was good to be back. Love it here so much.
Piper and Brett arrived after a while and after we had all checked in we wasted no time in getting down to the pool.
We ate pickle flavoured crackers by the pool until it got too cold.
In an effort to save money we had room dinner tonight. It was great – cheese curd, pickles and other delicious treats.

After dinner we caught up with Piper and Brett on the deck and had a drink. There was going to be a super moon tonight and everyone at Tourists was excited. Once the moon appeared everyone went down to the bridge to see it.
We also watched the fireflies – they are so cool.

Please note – it looks like my WordPress account is full again – so I have had to delete some photos from this post. Future posts may sadly be text only. I’ll see what we can do 🤞🏻
