Ekiben at Andon

Monday 27th January
Our last day in Japan today. We spent the day in Odaiba, looking at stuff and a bit of last minute shopping. We had a seriously large lunch of kushiage (deep fried stuff on a stick). You choose your food and then cover it in panko crumbs and deep fry it right there at the table. So wouldn’t be allowed in Australia. It was awesome, but possibly a little greasy.

Afterwards, we couldn’t resist a Hello Kitty dessert from a nearby Hello Kitty shop.

As we had to get an early start the next morning (and still full from the kushiage lunch)we decided to grab some Eki bento from the station on the way back to Andon (our accomodation). I couldn’t resist the ikura one. So, so good.

And for dessert (because we really needed more food) we couldn’t resist these super kawaii panda cakes.
