Supanova Part 2: Aka Mostly standing in lines

Today I stood in lines. A lot. Multiple hours of line queue-age. I lined up to get in to Supanova. Then I lined up to meet Nathan Fillion for (literally) 3 seconds and get my photo taken with him. Then I lined up to get said photo signed by Nathan. Maybe about 3 hours or more of lining up. But, was it worth it? Hell yes!

Having been to Disneyland and Japan multiple times now, I’m kind of good at lining up anyway. And, yes, before you mention it,  I do look a bit crazed in this photo. Look at my eyes – them be crazy eyes. It wasn’t so much the shock of meeting Nathan, but more the fact that I was trying so hard not to look munted or close my eyes when the camera flashed. You don’t get a second chance at these things. Well you do but that’d be another wad of cash gone.

So anyway, with the all the excitement over by the early afternoon, we spent the rest of the day wandering through the crowds of Supanova. We also went to Adam Baldwin’s Q&A which was rather entertaining.

By the time we got home, we were totally geeked out and exhausted, so we put some rice on to cook and we had Japanese curry and egg for dinner. It was a good day to be a nerd.
