A slow start to the day today, but we ended up doing quite a bit. Headed to a cafe in Duxton Hill called Department of Caffeine for coffee and lunch. It was full when we got there, so we had quite a wait to get a table. Around 45 minutes. It was totally worth it though.
Their coffee was good and strong. Just what we needed.
Food wise, we ordered their Lobster Club sandwich and a side of crispy chicken. The sandwich was a brioch-y type bread and it was amazingly delicious. The lobster was underneath the egg in case you are wondering.
After afternoon beers at Gillman Barracks galleries…
…we headed to China Town for dinner. I had pork and noodles and chicken wings. Steve had a prawn laksa. All were delicious.
