We were a bit tired today after our busy day and late night yesterday.

Slept in a bit and got down to breakfast quite late – the place had been ransacked!

After breakfast we decided to go for a ride around Malmo. Oh we also did some washing and hung it around our room to dry.

First we went to the nearby Folkets park. We went there last time we were here – nice park but it was very cold and empty then. Today was a different story – very busy with families and everyone enjoying the sun.

We were on a mission to find a coffee but stopped in to a cute shop nearby called Kawaii that was finally open. Normally it’s closed in the morning when we go by and closed at night when we come back again.

Found a cute bakery with good coffee.

Rode around another park. Saw lots of people playing Pokemon Go.

Oh at some stage we went back to our hotel for lunch. It was really hot today and we were struggling with the heat a bit.

We rode out to the coast to see the beach. We did bring our bathers but it was really busy and there was lots of seaweed in the water so we weren’t super keen to get in.

We were too hot so we decided to go for Fika instead of all this bike riding in the sun. Fika = Coffee and cake Swedish style.

We went to Hollandia cafe and had Princess Cake – what else?

After coffee and cake we headed back to the hotel and just chilled for the rest of the afternoon in to the evening. We bought a few more things from the supermarket (including some deliciously fresh strawberries from a local stand) and had room dinner.

We went out for another ride around after the sun went down a bit and it was a bit cooler.

All in all a bit of a chilled day today, albeit a hot one!

Edit: I forgot to mention I did see a wild bunny in a park. It jumped away swiftly though so no photos for you.
