So the other day when we went up to Helsingborg and caught the ferry to Helsingor – well the plan was to on the train after leaving Helsingor and go to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. But we ran out of time and didn’t get to go.
So we decided to go today.
First, though, we had to return our bikes which was a bit sad.
Well we actually could have kept our bikes and return them tonight but we decided we didn’t need them at the museum so thought it’d be easier to drop them off this morning.
We’re going to miss these little bikes.
Oh we also had coffees in Malmo because – hotel coffee, not so good.

Caught the train over to Copenhagen. Had morning tea at Rug Bakery. So good. Better than it should be really.

Then we got on the train to Humlebæk. The station closest to the museum. Takes about 45 minutes.
Then about a 10 minute walk to the gallery. The gallery has exhibitions inside and also outside – lots to explore and very picturesque.

Lunch was a bit of a debacle – the onsite restaurant was crazy expensive and the kiosk selling sandwiches was crazy busy. Smart people brought a picnic. We are not so smart. We shared a sandwich. Luckily I had snacking jelly beans in my bag which saved my life.

We walked around looking at everything for ages. It was super cool but lots to see and lots of walking so a bit tiring. After we left we went at sat by the water for a bit and put our feet in the ocean.

Then we got on a train bound for Klampenbourg. There is deer there and we wanted to see the deer. Actually before that we walked to a supermarket to get some snacks because hungry. It was a long walk in the hot sun and about half way in we did wonder what the hell we were doing.
Snacks obtained, we got on the train bound for Klampenborg. When we got there we instantly regretted not bringing our bikes. The part of the park we wanted to see was quite a hike away and we were too tired to walk that much. A kind passer by informed us we could still see deer nearby.

We did see deer at the park but not many and they were far away so no photos for you. We really should have had our bikes. Duh.
We walked on for a bit and found an old amusement park – Bakken. That was really cool. It was quite busy.

We headed back to Copenhagen and tried to think of something for dinner. I just didn’t want anything with bread. Or bread like product. Quite a difficult task.
We settled on a Spanish place and it was pretty tasty. I mean, not Spain tasty, but still tasty.

There were two baby seagulls nearby who seemed to not know what they were doing – running around and crying out. They made me feel a bit sad. They were cute. I hope they find their way.

We walked back to the station to head back to Malmo and bid adieu to Copenhagen- we won’t be coming back here again (well, only the airport) before we leave. Bit sad, but I am sure we will be back one day.
