First day of Spring! Hooray!

Making Pork Belly Kakuni (Japanese style braised pork belly). This meal takes many hours, but the end result of super tender melt in your mouth pork is usually worth it.

Pork ready to begin the 2 hour+ boiling.

The final product! With rice, spinach & soft boiled egg. Plus daikon radish salad. Itadakimasu!
